Whether you’ve never touched a boulder before or you’re well seasoned and looking for extra tips, we’ve got a class for you.

First Time: Short Course

  • This course is aimed at those who are brand new to bouldering (or have maybe given it a brief crack) and are looking for some support in starting out.

  • We recognise that bouldering can be scary... and starting out can be even scarier!

    In this short course, one of our expert coaches will take you through all the need-to-knows so that you're set up with some basic skills and a whole lot more confidence to start your bouldering journey in style.

    Expect some warm-up tips, safe-falling practices, entry-level technique and energy saving pointers.

  • We want this course to be accessible and friendly to those starting out so you only need to pay $25 to sign up.

    This also includes rental shoes, chalk and a WHOLE WEEK of free climbing to practice your skills after the session.

    Run twice per month, be sure to book in to secure a spot.

Next Steps: Bouldering Course

  • This course is aimed at beginner-intermediate boulderers looking to up-skill and push the next grade in their climbing.

  • Feeling stuck in your bouldering? Looking for some guidance on technique, projecting and progression?

    This 2 hour course has your back.

    We'll cover how to have better warm-ups, technical drills, movement efficiency, reading boulders, facing plateaus and so much more!

  • We're stoked to bring you this course for FREE if you are a prepaid or direct debit member at Rock It.

    If not, $80 to sign up.

    We run this course once a month so make sure you book in to secure a spot!

Monthly Community Sessions

  • On the first Monday of every month, alternating between Derwent Park and Hobart. Join our friendly coaches and like-minded women for an hour of hangs and beta sharing.
    6-8pm, $17 entry.

    These sessions are absolutely first-timer friendly and can be a great way to try bouldering in a supportive environment.

  • We're so excited to collaborate with Climbing QTs to bring you monthly LGBTQ+ social bouldering sessions!

    Come for the vibes, stay for the good times with good people.

    We welcome climbers of all backgrounds and abilities. The 2nd Monday of every month.

  • First time to Elite Climbers

    With more than 10 years of competition, route-setting and training experience under her belt, Roxy works with climbers to assess and understand what they need to progress in their climbing; whether that’s through technique, strength or mental training.

    Roxy works with any ages and abilities, boulder or lead/top tope.
